An accomplished, award-winning Entrepreneur and Innovative thinker with broad-based expertise in the field of Agriculture and Business Development. His vast and varied experience in commercial aspects related to agriculture includes Fertilizers, Pesticides, Seeds, Floriculture, Biotechnology, and Machinery. His proven ability to quickly analyse market needs, develop business strategies to meet requirements, and envision and create successful outcomes in complex situations. Track record of increasing market share and growing bottom line while spearheading operational excellence to drive productivity with cost reduction. Pragmatic and focused , Results-oriented and decisive leader with proven success in market identification and positioning, fruitful partnerships, and joint collaborations. His work and charities have brought him many laurels such as the Atal Samman award from the government in the Parliament House, an honourary doctorate from the Royal American University for his contribution to the humanities and for aiding in the development of his country, and a company founded by him was recognised to be amongst the top 100 SMEs in India in 2016. His foray into the Coffee Business was to build a focused solution to many of the commonly faced issues by farmers of the area, which he felt he couldn’t do if he didn’t experience these issues firsthand. He also truly believes in uplifting the community in the surrounding areas. In this regard, he has not only kept his doors open to share his wealth of knowledge along with decades of experience pro bono with any farmer in the area who needs assistance but has also adopted the local school the very year we started operations to better infrastructure for the future generation. Hailing from a small village in Punjab himself, he knows the importance of receiving a good education in order to break through boundaries in their own field of choice.

A Third Generation Coffee Farmer, he has spent his lifetime understanding the intricate process of farming coffee, aided by not just knowledge passed down through his family but also extensive research by visiting multiple countries to learn the best practices from across the globe. His effort has been to put Indian Coffee on the map, which he has achieved by winning multiple honours from some of the largest Coffee Houses in the world. Having had a front seat to seeing the changing environment in Coffee Farming, his interest lies in helping farmers combat the many challenges that face them. From labour shortages, changing climate, pest control, increasing costs of maintenance to outdated methods, through his wide network of assosciates and members of the community, he tries to find solutions that are not only cost effective but also more productive while being sustainable. His home town, Chikmagalur is not only the Land of Coffee but also one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the country. His efforts in working with the local hospitatlity sector to use greener practices from water conservation to renewable energy is an effort to not just present a memorable experience for anyone that visits this piece of heaven, but also his way of ensuring that his home land is as beautiful as the one he grew up in for generations to come. Ashwin is also actively involved in giving back as much as he can, from helping with housing and education for the less fortunate youth, aiding the recovery of diseased cattle, to working with government and private bodies on various issues that need to be addressed.
